Use the Basic Information tab of the UDT07 screen to provide general information for the code.

| UDT07
|
Enter a 20-character, uppercase alphanumeric UDT07 code. Each code must be unique.
Note: The number of characters you enter cannot exceed the size set up in the
General Configuration screen for UDT07.

| Description
|
Enter up to 30 characters for a UDT07 description. You should make descriptions as short as possible and properly capitalize them because they are used in drop-down boxes and as column headings for reports and inquiries.

| Costpoint Company
|
This field displays only if you selected the
Costpoint Multicompany check box in the
Miscellaneous tab of the General Configuration screen. See Special Topic: Costpoint Multicompany for details on this feature.
If the field displays, use the drop-down box to select the Costpoint company that you wish to associate with this UDT07. For a new
UDT07, the first Costpoint company in the list is the default value. For an existing UDT07 record, the
Costpoint Company field is non-editable.

Select this check box if the UDT07 is active.

Override
This section displays if you are calculating one or both of the rate fields. This is based on the
Use and
Label values in the User-Defined Rates group box in the Miscellaneous tab of the
Time Configuration screen. See Special Topic: Labor Costing for more detail.

Enter the rate 1 rate that you wish to use for this UDT07. This field is available if you are calculating Rate 1. The range is
